About Madelyn Postman

Madelyn has been researching and writing about her family history since 2017. Her debut, Staring into the Sun, which links memoir and narrative nonfiction about the Chinese American half of her family, will be published by Ten16 Press in May 2026, with the audio book produced by Mercury Calling. She is currently writing a novel set in present-day London that features a control-freak PR consultant, loss of identity, AI avatars, and Jewish ancestors.

A Nevada native, Madelyn spent her formative years in San Francisco and New England. She holds a BA in Visual Arts and Art History from Brown University. On her junior year abroad since 1992, she can now be found at the western end of London Underground’s Metropolitan Line.

Madelyn and her husband Christoph run Grain Sustainability, part of Menzies LLP since October 2025.
